Is Kitesurfing Expensive?

Sunday, June 26th, 2011

Everyone knows kite surfing can be an expensive extreme sport to take part in, especially in the Northern Hemisphere where a wetsuit is essentail. However this doesn’t always have to be the case. In fact it is possible to get some top quality kite surfing equipment from the big name manufacturers, at reasonable prices, as long as you are willing to spend some time and effort into finding them. There are bargains to be found everywhere. I managed to pick up a cabrinha kites complete Rival 145CM board and a Prolimit Pg waist harness for under 300 pounds!

The initial plunge into kite surfing can be the most expensive time for any kite surfing enthusiast. This is why it is probably the most important time to do your bargain hunting. Only today I managed to find a complete Ozone Instinct Edge RX kitesurfing kite for only 599.99 pounds on the internet. That is over 50% off!

Perhaps I Am Too Obsessed With My Car

Friday, June 25th, 2010

I’m a little too obsessed with my car, but I reassure myself that KNOWING I’m too obsessed is a sign of good mental health.  At least I’m self-aware about it! So my advice? Your car should always be in excellent condition, even if it is 3-4 years old. Always keep your car interior clean and shiny, which should be done at least once a week.

I change my car every 4 years, and while you don’t need to do that, consider that an older car generally costs more to service and repair. With a new car, you get a new driving experience and hassle free maintenance for another 4 years. I was using a smaller car – the Alto for 4 years and after 4 years I have sold that off and bought a new Swift Desire, which is even powerful and spacious car. I am really enjoying this new car specially when I go for long drives for week end stays to Goa and Pachgani. It’s amazingly nice to have a new car. However changing your car also let you get the feel of latest technology features such as fuel saving, etc.
