In the early 90s my sister was investigating x-ray technician schools to attend and eventually settled on a program offered at a local hospital. It was a 20 month program that took her from newbie to being able to work as an x ray tech on her own. The program started with classroom courses that taught anatomy and physiology as well as other topics important to people in the medical field. Then as time progressed she got to get hands on with the machine and sit in on x rays. Eventually she was allowed to work directly with the patients under the supervision of a registered x ray technician. Finally she graduated. The hospital she trained in offered her a job right away since they saw how great she did in class and in the lab. It does not matter what age you are. Online everyone is equal and at the same stage in their education. I even met friends in my area who are in my online classes. It is a social experience as well as an educational one. Most days I do up to three hours. I also have a part time job but they are willing to fit the hours around your lifestyle. I hated the fact that I had never passed my O-levels, now I feel I am confident to hold my head up high. I may have passed my O-levels at forty nine, but at least I did them. I am thinking about staying on the system and completing my further education too.

He’s totally into it right now and he thinks that he is going to be making a lot of money by the time he is done with school. I certainly hope so! I think it’s good for him to be able to have goals. My son had to gather up information and samples of the Japanese culture. I decided to take him to the market to buy some white rice and brown rice. I thought it would be a good idea to have that for the project. I also thought I would help him by finding some kind of symbols for him. He said that kanji symbols were what he needed. I checked online when he was conducting his research on the Japanese culture on his laptop. I was trying to find the samples for his project, but he had to write a twenty-five page summary on the entire culture of Japan. The project day came, and he had to present his project. I think his professor and fellow classmates really liked his kanji symbols.

They are basically trying to sell me on the idea when I am not even sure if I want to attend a Hospitality management School in the first place. I would love to be able to sit down with them and explain it, but doing that is virtually impossible. I have hinted to my mother, but she insists I do not know what is good for me.
I do not want to let them down, but I am not sure if I want to travel half way around the globe to go to school.
